The Idyllwild Fire Protection District has rescheduled its August commission meeting to 6. p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16. It will still be held in the IFPD conference and training room. The regular monthly meeting would have been Tuesday, Aug. 9.

ReplyDeletethank you for publishing the change in IFPD's usual meeting date so quickly. We rarely have to move the usual "second Tuesday of the month" meeting and I appreciate your effort to spread the word.
As representatives of the community is important that we (the Commissioners) understand the concerns of the public which elected us. The reverse is also true....we need to keep the community informed of the needs and over-all status of IFPD. Afterall, it is YOUR fire department!
Every month I'll be typing up the agenda for the monthly board meeting. I have a list of people who have requested that I email them a copy of the agenda when it is available. If you would like to add your name to that list please email me at "commissionerstigall@idyllwildfire.com." The agenda should be available by 5:00 PM on the Saturday before the meeting (72 hours in advance.) You may also use that email address to contact me with any comments or concerns you may have.
