NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF HEMET UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Governing Board ("Board") of the Hemet Unified School District ("District") will hold a public hearing in accordance with California Government Code Section 4217.10 et seq. ("Public Hearing") regarding a General Waiver Request to waive EC 41376 and increase the class size cap to maintain the instructional integrity of our educational program in response to the current state-wide budget crisis and reduced revenue to the school district. The Public Hearing is to be held on May 3, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as practicable, in the Board Room at the Professional Development Service Center, 1791 W. Acacia Avenue, Hemet, California, 92545. The Public Hearing will be open to the public, and all interested persons in attendance will have the opportunity to be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the District either during or prior to the Public Hearing.
