Spring is here, Vi says

Vi Hallacy called today. A grosbeak (probably a blackheaded variety) was at her bird feeder this morning. This species summers in the area and Vi delcared, "Spring is officially here."

Well, Vi, not to argue, you close, but opening day is Sunday, April 4, that's the official arrival of Spring. You were seeing a scout here early.
