TO THE MOUNTAINS ABOVE 7000 FEET LATE THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH THIS EVENING.

TO MIDNIGHT PST TONIGHT ABOVE 7000 FEET...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING ABOVE 7000 FEET FOR HEAVY SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW
...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO MIDNIGHT PST
TONIGHT.
* TIMING: HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED THIS EVENING.
* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF
8 TO 16 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ABOVE 7000 FEET WITH LOCALLY
GREATER AMOUNTS ON THE HIGHEST PEAKS.
* WINDS: AREAS OF SOUTHWEST WINDS 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS
TO 55 MPH AT TIMES.
* SNOW LEVELS: SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER TO AROUND 7000 FEET
BY LATE AFTERNOON...AND TO AROUND 6000 FEET
DURING THE EVENING.
* IMPACTS: HEAVY SNOWFALL AND STRONG WINDS WITH BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL CAUSE VERY HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS.
